		<description>Environmental Philanthropy

Branding, Web Design
	THE CLIENT
The Campbell Foundation (TCF) is a family foundation that believes in strategic infusions of funding. It was established in&#38;nbsp;1998 to improve the conditions of America’s largest and most ecologically diverse estuary systems: the Chesapeake and Atlantic Coastal Bays. In response to a call for improved practices in philanthropy, they offer a broad range of grants. In 2025, they provided more than $28 million in grants to organizations focused on enabling vibrant, livable communities in watershed regions.
PROJECT GOALSTCF was needing a full rebrand and robust website redesign. Their existing brand felt too closely tied to the environment and their website was extremely outdated and hard to navigate.&#38;nbsp;They had begun to expand the scope of their philanthropic efforts to organizations focusing on topics beyond environmental issues and wanted their brand to align with their new focus.MY ROLEAs lead designer for this project, I began by leading the TCF team in multiple workshops, creating a brand identity, moodboards and concepts, to understand their needs for the rebrand. In collaboration with the TCF team, we decided to move forward with a wordmark logo that would lend itself to evolve with the organization’s portfolio over time. I created multiple iterations of the wordmark exploring different font configurations that felt organic and authentic to TCF’s voice.&#38;nbsp;
Once the brand was finalized, we moved into the website visual design phase, where I connected the new brand to the existing web materials the Friendly team had created. I outlined the full brand in a comprehensive brand guide.
THE WORK
The logo features a bold sans serif typeface with unique details that feel contemporary and tie into the organic shapes used throughout the brand. The article “the” appears in slab serif typeface that adds a colorful visual element and adds a playful voice to the wordmark.&#38;nbsp;
The extended brand is light and dynamic, taking inspiration from natural forms found in the environment. Thin line drawings supplement the blob-like forms to add an element of movement. The palette is colorful yet sophisticated, establishing TCF as a credible source of funding that shows genuine care for their grantees and stakeholders.&#38;nbsp;

		<description>The Global Voice of Midwives
Branding, Web Design
	THE CLIENT
The International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) has been the global voice of midwives and midwives’ associations for more than 100 years. The midwifery model of care is based on respect, dignity, compassion, and the promotion of human rights for all. This includes the right to access quality care from autonomous midwives. Midwives have a broad role in providing universal sexual reproductive health service according to the ICM Definition and Scope of Practice of a Midwife.

PROJECT GOALS
ICM needed a new, evolved brand and website to reflect the energy, compassion, and diversity of their global midwives associations. They sought to establish their credibility as the main authorities on midwifery while providing midwives access to educational resources and connection with their wider community via a member portal. The Friendly team partnered with ICM to build an accessible, resource-rich website to support midwives in nearly every country.
MY ROLEAs the design lead for this project, I was involved in every stage from conception through launch. I led discovery workshops as well as strategy calls finalizing the sitemap and wireframes. The client then tasked us with a full brand project. I created multiple rounds of logo concepts until we landed on our final logo and created a full brand guide. The logo represents and highlights the model of care between a midwife and a birthing person, with the newborn baby at the center. The project then moved into visual design, where I connected the new brand to the existing web materials we had created.
 THE WORK
The new website now features a robust research library highlighting the extensive resources ICM has created for their community. The inclusive online hub also includes contrast modes, image variants, and language options that make it easy to engage with critical resources.
 This project was honored with a Gold Anthem Award and a Community Voice Award in the 4th Annual Anthem Awards.

		<description>Building a Brighter Digital Future
Branding, Web Design
	THE CLIENT
The National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) advances digital equity by supporting community programs and equipping policymakers to act. NDIA combines grassroots community engagement with technical knowledge, research, and coalition building to advocate on behalf of people working in their communities for digital equity.PROJECT GOALS
The goal of this project was to revitalize NDIA’s brand and website to better reflect the growth and professionalism of the organization since its beginnings as a largely grassroots organization. The Friendly team partnered with NDIA to create a modern, inclusive, and accessible brand and website that would resonate with their stakeholders, including policy makers, community leaders, and individuals impacted by the digital divide. The overarching intention for this project was to ensure the brand felt human and genuine, centering the community of people that NDIA serves.&#38;nbsp;MY ROLE
As lead brand designer for this project, I led the NDIA team in workshops presenting moodboards and brand concepts to better understand the scope of the rebrand. It was important to the NDIA team to retain the wifi element in their logo as that largely encompasses their work in digital inclusion. The logo iterations focused on different ways to incorporate the essence of the wifi symbol while still feeling unique and centering accessibility.

Once the brand was finalized, we moved into the visual design phase, where I connected the new brand to the existing web materials the Friendly team had created. I outlined the full brand in a comprehensive brand guide.
THE WORK The logo includes the wifi symbol growing out of the tiddle of the “i,” symbolizing the expansive NDIA community and subtly representing a human form. The extended brand features digital pathways in three strokes that act as an extension of the wifi symbol. They connect and frame website content, illustrating the interconnectedness of the NDIA community and the people they serve.&#38;nbsp;
The color and type choices reflect an evolution of the NDIA brand. The NDIA teal was an important color choice to retain in the brand as many stakeholders began to associate the organization with that shade. We built a cohesive palette around the teal, with orange and purple hues, that feels both modern and professional. The typography is readable in multiple bold sans serifs typefaces, while still feeling human through small details in the “NDIA” acronym that we edited to feel custom to NDIA.

Web Design
	THE CLIENT
The International Biochar Initiative (IBI) provides a platform for fostering stakeholder collaboration, good industry practices, and environmental and ethical standards to support biochar systems that are safe and economically viable.
PROJECT GOALS
IBI sought to create a modernized website. Their previous site was outdated and overwhelming in content. The Friendly team worked to rebrand IBI and utilized the new brand in the new site design, with better organization and a contemporary feel.
MY ROLEAs the web designer for this project, my main goal was to distill the old and abundant information into digestible pieces, while maintaining the wealth of information and resources. Through sitemapping and wireframing we landed on a clear hierarchy of information with user-friendly navigation.Design-wise, I achieved the primary objective to translate the newly developed brand into a functioning, interactive website. Inspired by the organic pattern created in the brand and logomark, rounded UI elements and pops of color added a modern touch.
THE WORKThe brand, as well as the website, brings the technical and the organic together. The site uses the graphic motif that visually represents the chemical compound of biochar as a flexible visual element framing content and images.

		<description>Halcyon Annual Report
Annual Report, Development
	THE CLIENT
Halcyon accelerates the impact-driven future of business. Since 2014, Halcyon’s fellowships for early-stage social entrepreneurs have provided space, community, and access—infusing support at a critical juncture where many impact-driven startups fail. Halcyon is focused on serving social entrepreneurs with ventures in Health, Climate, and EquityTech— three verticals that drive equity and inclusivity in society.
PROJECT GOALS
The Halcyon team requested an annual report site to document their 2023 updates that would require minimal development effort and extend their existing brand in a new way. We opted to use Webflow to build the site.

THE WORK
The report site builds on Halcyon’s current brand, using their hallmark circular pattern and connecting the dots in different layouts to illustrate Halcyon’s interconnected network of fellows and entrepreneurs. My work on this project demonstrates my skills using Figma and Webflow.&#38;nbsp;

	THE CLIENT
CGAP is a global partnership of more than 40 leading development organizations that works to advance the lives of people living in poverty, especially women, through financial inclusion. CGAP works at the frontier of inclusive finance to test solutions, spark innovation, generate evidence, and share insights.&#38;nbsp;
PROJECT GOALS
The Friendly team collaborated with CGAP on a rebrand project and subsequently the website needed to be updated to match. In order to implement the development of the new website seamlessly, Friendly worked with their development team to redesign their existing modules in order to match the new CGAP brand.&#38;nbsp;MY ROLE
As the web designer for this project, I worked closely with the CGAP team to understand their website build and operations. I highlighted which modules were of the highest priority to redesign according to the content they most frequently update to remain within scope. The final deliverable was presenting the CGAP team with a comprehensive development guide in Figma outlining all of the redesigned modules and their respective functionalities.

Web Design
	THE CLIENT
Founded in 2000, Fresh Lifelines for Youth (FLY) is an award-winning nonprofit serving Bay Area youth impacted by the justice system. FLY serves more than 2,000 youth ages 11-25 throughout the Bay Area each year. They offer programs in four Bay Area Counties, and San Francisco, and advocate at local and state levels to disrupt the pipeline to prison.
PROJECT GOALS
FLY needed a new website to highlight the breadth of their programming and the importance of the community they serve: underpriviledged youth. The Friendly team worked to rebrand FLY as well as carry the brand into a new, updated website appealing to both donors and the youth that they serve.

MY ROLE
I worked as a web designer for this project, creating wireframes detailing the site structure. In visual design, I translated the newly developed brand into flexible site modules that could be adapted for future use as the client’s content grew.&#38;nbsp;
THE WORKThe site is youthful and fun with bright, bold color-blocked areas and oversized text. Distressed textures add visual interest and a layered feel.

	THE CLIENT
KID Museum is the DC area’s pioneering experiential museum and educational makerspace. They foster the “Mind of a Maker” in kids and youth, empowering the next generation with the skills to invent the future.
PROJECT GOALS
The Friendly team worked with KID Museum two years in a row to create their print annual reports. The goal of both reports was to evolve the existing KID Museum brand, while remaining bright, fun, and professional to appeal to donors and funders.&#38;nbsp;
MY ROLEBoth the 2022 and 2023 print booklets can be found below. I worked as the design lead on both reports, creating multiple concepts for the KID Museum team to approve. Designing the full reports, I expanded the chosen concept. The 2023 report design helped to guide a new era of the KID Museum brand,&#38;nbsp; leading to my creation of a new brand guide featuring new illustrations and image treatments.

Web Design
	THE CLIENT
REDF Workshop is the ultimate hub for Employment Social Enterprises (ESEs) seeking to build, grow, and sustain impactful organizations! Their platform is designed to equip businesses with the knowledge, tools, and resources needed to drive positive change and create lasting transformative impact in the ESE field.
PROJECT GOALS
The Friendly team worked with REDF to redesign their website. The REDF team had recently undergone a rebrand so the website needed to match their existing brand.&#38;nbsp;
MY ROLE
I joined this project near the end of the website process and started with style tiles and visual design. I presented the client with 3 different website concepts based on different evolutions of their existing brand. The design now focuses on the blue and orange shades of the palette while making sure to include the brand’s grain textures.
