ANDERSON: FUKUDA

June 2017

Select pages from a book project entitled “Anderson: Fukuda.” The book analyzes the integration of the styles of both designers, Gail Anderson and Shigeo Fukuda, while also inserting my own patterning and color. Created personal repetition of patterns and optical illusions by using typographical and illustrative styles inspired by Anderson and Fukuda. The idea behind the book is centralized around the idea that the designers’ voices coming together is mimicked by the act of switching shoes with another person. Includes process and spreads two, three, and four from the book.
